When an AMQP message is sent over a cluster bridge it is embedded into a
Core message. If the size of the AMQP message is barely beneath the
minLargeMessageSize then the Core message in which the AMQP message is
embedded will become a large message. The on the bridge target when the
embedded AMQP message is extracted from the large Core message it will
not be considered "large." In this situation the file for the large Core
message will leak.
Thanks to Erwin Dondorp for the test. I renamed and refactored it a bit,
but the fundamentals came from Erwin.
Ensure that on server restart the original priority value assigned to an
AMQP message is used when dispatching durable messages from the store.
The AMQP Header section is scanned if present and the priority value
is recovered in an efficient manner.
In some setups, there could be a few hundred thousand queues that are
created due to many consumers that are connecting. However, most of
these are empty and stay empty for the entire day since there aren't
necessarily messages to be sent. The 8K intermediateMessageReferences
instantiates an 64KB buffer (Object[]). This means we have large
allocation and live heap that ultimately remains empty for almost the
entire day.
In this commit, we introduce initial-queue-buffer-size, which defaults
to the current value of 8192. It can be set programmatically via
QueueConfiguration#setInitialQueueBufferSize(int).
Note that this must be a positive power of 2.
This commit uses lambdas or method references wherever possible. There
are still a handful of places that appear like they could be changed but
couldn't mainly because they use "this" and the meaning of "this"
changes when using a lambda.

PagingStore is supposed to send an event to replica on every file that is closed.
There are a few situation where the sendClose is being missed and that could generate leaks on the target
Whenever we create a queue with a filter we're instantiating 3 different
`org.apache.activemq.artemis.core.filter.impl.FilterImpl` objects. This
is wasteful and entirely avoidable.
These tests are using an asynchronous feature. the check on Log has to use the Wait.assertEquals
I had to make a few changes to the methods to allow the use of Wait
I had to remove the indirect dependency between the maven plugin and jline
to avoid the maven plugin to parse some classes in jline that require experimental features on the JDK
even when they are not in use.
- Move ActiveMQTestBase to artemis-test-support.
- Add reduced parent for current artemis-server tests.
- Add a simpler test case parent class unit tests can use.
- Convert some existing checks into a rule for reuse.
- Move various rules/utils to artemis[-unit]-test-support module from where they can be used instead of from artemis-server.
This commit does the following:

- Supports previous configuration elements, but logs when old elements
are used.
- Provides migration documentation.
- Updates XSD with new config elements and simplifies by combining some
overlapping complexTypes.
- Removes ambiguous "live" language that's used with regard to high
availability.
- Standardizes use of "primary," "backup," "active," & "passive" as
nomenclature to describe both configuration & runtime state for high
availability.
I was not able to reproduce the actual issue here, but I heavily used this test during debugging.
This will not serve as a reproducer to the Ghost consumer issue, but this is a valid test.
