Todd Lipcon 1ba357553a Merge trunk into HA branch. 
Resolved some semantic conflicts in TestFileAppendRestart - we now log more OP_ADDs in the HA branch than we did in trunk.
Resolved some conflicts around removal of VersionedProtocol, etc.
