- Before this fix, NiFi loses information about created versioned flow in case of subsequent snapshot creation failure, and NiFi API returned an error response
- This commit makes:
- The created versioned Flow information is stored even if subsequent snapshot creation fails
- NiFi API to return a successful 200 response in that case, but return versioned flow status as SYNC_FAILURE with an explanation. NiFi UI shows a popup error dialog with the explanation.
- Versioned flow status will be LOCALLY_MODIFIED if the latest version is 0.

- Found several instances of nifi-framework-api's ProviderException being thrown from processors. Changed those to IllegalStateException, as ProviderException is not an appropriate Exception in those cases, and extensions should not depend on nifi-framework-api.
- Performed some cleanup, moving Property Descriptors from Controller Service API's/specs into the implementations. Adding to the Service API results in bringing in nifi-utils to the nifi-standard-services-api-nar, which is a bad practice. The 'main' service api nar should not have a dependency on a util class.
NIFI-5859: Added javadocs. Fixed pom.xml that was left pointing to snapshot version of nar maven plugin

permission.

NIFI-5241: Extended timeout that Jetty uses before closing an active HTTP connection. Because the UI refreshes every 30 seconds by default, and the Jetty connection pool times out every 30 seconds by default, we very frequently saw new HTTP connections being created for the UI refreshes. This resulted in 4 new connections and 4 SSL handshakes occurring every 30 seconds. By extending the timeout, we now see those connections being reused and SSL Handshakes no longer occurring frequently

NIFI-5112: Refactored FlowSerializer so that it creates the desired intermediate data model that can be serialized, separate from serializing. This allows us to hold the FlowController's Read Lock only while creating the data model, not while actually serializing the data. Configured Jersey Client in ThreadPoolRequestReplicator not to look for features using the Service Loader for every request. Updated Template object to hold a DOM Node that represents the template contents instead of having to serialize the DTO, then parse the serialized form as a DOM object each time that it needs to be serialized.

This commit includes changes to DeleteHDFS to report REMOTE_INVOCATION
event. In order to do so, the processor had to be changed to create

Refactored the createDocsWebApp method of the JettyServer.java class. Previously NiFi would fail to
start up and instead throw an IllegalStatException if the 'docs' directory did not exist in the
installation directory. With the update, if the 'docs' directory is missing, an attempt to create
the missing directory will be made and if successful will enable NIFI to startup successfully, barring
any other startup errors of course. The side effect of this change is that the help documentation
under the 'General' heading of the help page will be missing.
Three small helper methods were extracted from the original method. Each related to a section of the
original code that could throw an exception. In each case if an exception is now thrown a more helpful
log message will be output and the process will be closed via the startUpfailure method rather than
throwing an exception.
This closes#2164.

The JIRA issue asks for treating both node and its label as one unit.
Described cursor issues seems to be fixed already.
However, there is an annoying dead space between a node and label
preventing displaying context menu, etc. Due to SVG group's nature
there has been added an opaque joint to remove the dead space.

included in a single Site-to-Site transaction.
- Added batch throttling logic when StandardRemoteGroupPort transfers
flow files to a remote input port using the batch limit configurations,
so that users can limit batch not only for pulling data, but also pushing data.
- Added destination list shuffle to provide better load distribution.
Previously, the load distribution algorithm produced the same host consecutively.
- Added new batch settings to FlowConfiguration.xsd.
- Added new batch settings to Flow Fingerprint.

This approaches a proper solution on how to hand over the key from
RunNiFi to NiFi. Insofar the password file is pruned as part of the
startup, NiFi processors can't read it.

- Using consistent logic when verifying connection creation. Removed some unecessary checks as verification has been changed to run in cluster and standalone mode.

If there is an unconnected remote port, right clicking a Remote Process Group
then select 'Remote Ports' causes a JS error saying 'Uncaught TypeError'.
Because there are few code paths those don't return the created
transmissionSwitch value from createPortOption function in
nf-remote-process-group-ports.js.
