Fix error message to use SSH_KNOWN_HOST variable properly
Previously SSH_KNOWN_HOSTS was used which is undefined.

Use .ssh for SSH_PRIVATE_KEY_PATH
This ensures the .ssh folder is being created and aligns the private key
and known host location.
