The transport client was linking to a page in maven central that didn't
have the transport client in it. This is better link and happens to be
the same link that the low and high level rest client use.
This commit changes the format of the `hits.total` in the search response to be an object with
a `value` and a `relation`. The `value` indicates the number of hits that match the query and the
`relation` indicates whether the number is accurate (in which case the relation is equals to `eq`)
or a lower bound of the total (in which case it is equals to `gte`).
This change also adds a parameter called `rest_total_hits_as_int` that can be used in the
search APIs to opt out from this change (retrieve the total hits as a number in the rest response).
Note that currently all search responses are accurate (`track_total_hits: true`) or they don't contain
`hits.total` (`track_total_hits: true`). We'll add a way to get a lower bound of the total hits in a
follow up (to allow numbers to be passed to `track_total_hits`).

Bulk Request in High level rest client should be consistent with what is
possible in Rest API, therefore should support global parameters. Global
parameters are passed in URL in Rest API.
Some parameters are mandatory - index, type - and would fail validation
if not provided before before the bulk is executed.
Optional parameters - routing, pipeline.
The usage of these should be consistent across sync/async execution,
bulk processor and BulkRequestBuilder

* Replace custom type names with _doc in REST examples.
* Avoid using two mapping types in the percolator docs.
* Rename doc -> _doc in the main repository README.
* Also replace some custom type names in the HLRC docs.
The current docs of the put-mapping Java API is currently broken. It its current
form, it creates an index and uses the whole mapping definition given as a JSON
string as the type name. Since we didn't check the index created in the
IndicesDocumentationIT so far this went unnoticed.
This change adds test to catch this error to the documentation test, changes the
documentation so it works correctly now and adds an input validation to
PutMappingRequest#buildFromSimplifiedDef() which was used internally to reject
calls where no mapping definition is given.

* Migrate scripted metric aggregation scripts to ScriptContext design #29328
* Rename new script context container class and add clarifying comments to remaining references to params._agg(s)
* Misc cleanup: make mock metric agg script inner classes static
* Move _score to an accessor rather than an arg for scripted metric agg scripts
This causes the score to be evaluated only when it's used.
* Documentation changes for params._agg -> agg
* Migration doc addition for scripted metric aggs _agg object change
* Rename "agg" Scripted Metric Aggregation script context variable to "state"
* Rename a private base class from ...Agg to ...State that I missed in my last commit
* Clean up imports after merge
In 6.3 this was moved to `Strings.toString(XContentBuilder)` as part of the
XContent extraction. This commit fixes the docs to reference the new method.
Resolves#31326
Additionally:
* Included the existing update by query java api docs in java-api docs.
(for some reason it was never included, it needed some tweaking and
then it was good to go)
* moved delete-by-query / update-by-query code samples to java file so
that we can verify that these samples at least compile.

The Java API documentation for index administration currenty is wrong because
the PutMappingRequestBuilder#setSource(Object... source) an
CreateIndexRequestBuilder#addMapping(String type, Object... source) methods
delegate to methods that check that the input arguments are valid key/value
pairs. This changes the docs so the java api code examples are included from
documentation integration tests so we detect compile and runtime issues earlier.

When using the High Level Rest Client 6.0.0-beta1, we are missing some transitive dependencies for Lucene as Lucene 7 has not been released yet. See the following `pom.xml`:
```xml
<dependency>
<groupId>org.elasticsearch.client</groupId>
<artifactId>elasticsearch-rest-client</artifactId>
<version>6.0.0-beta1</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.elasticsearch.client</groupId>
<artifactId>elasticsearch-rest-high-level-client</artifactId>
<version>6.0.0-beta1</version>
</dependency>
```
It gives:
```
We need to add some temporary documentation on how to add the missing repository to a gradle or maven project:
```xml
<repository>
<id>elastic-lucene-snapshots</id>
<name>Elastic Lucene Snapshots</name>
<url>http://s3.amazonaws.com/download.elasticsearch.org/lucenesnapshots/00142c9</url>
<releases><enabled>true</enabled></releases>
<snapshots><enabled>false</enabled></snapshots>
</repository>
```
This also applies to the transport client.
Closes#26106.
We publish javadocs to artifacts.elastic.co (and snapshots.elastic.co) for a while. This commit adds the link to them to the transport client, low level REST client, sniffer and high level REST client pages.
Closes#23761
The Log4j dependency is separated into two artifacts, the API and the
core implementation. This is to enable replacing Log4j on the backend
through the SLF4J bridge with another logging implementation. For this
reason, the dependencies are marked as optional. This causes confusion
amongst users as to use the bridge, the API should be non-optional since
it is needed for the bridge to function correctly. While they could pull
it into their application directly, it would be clearer if we simply
marked this depdendency as non-optional. Note that this does not mean
that users have to use Log4j for logging in their application, so we are
not marking core as required, it only clarifies what they need to be
able to plug in a different logging implementation.
