7.x - Create plugin for yamlTest task (#56841) (#59090)
This commit creates a new Gradle plugin to provide a separate task name
and source set for running YAML based REST tests. The only project
converted to use the new plugin in this PR is distribution/archives/integ-test-zip.
For which the testing has been moved to :rest-api-spec since it makes the most
sense and it avoids a small but awkward change to the distribution plugin.

The remaining cases in modules, plugins, and x-pack will be handled in followups.

This plugin is distinctly different from the plugin introduced in #55896 since
the YAML REST tests are intended to be black box tests over HTTP. As such they
should not (by default) have access to the classpath for that which they are testing.

The YAML based REST tests will be moved to separate source sets (yamlRestTest).
The which source is the target for the test resources is dependent on if this
new plugin is applied. If it is not applied, it will default to the test source
set.

Further, this introduces a breaking change for plugin developers that
use the YAML testing framework. They will now need to either use the new source set
and matching task, or configure the rest resources to use the old "test" source set that
matches the old integTest task. (The former should be preferred).

As part of this change (which is also breaking for plugin developers) the
rest resources plugin has been removed from the build plugin and now requires
either explicit application or application via the new YAML REST test plugin.

Plugin developers should be able to fix the breaking changes to the YAML tests
by adding apply plugin: 'elasticsearch.yaml-rest-test' and moving the YAML tests
under a yamlRestTest folder (instead of test)

[7.x] Lazy test cluster module and plugins (#54852) (#55087)
This change converts the module and plugin parameters
for testClusters to be lazy. Meaning that the values
are not resolved until they are actually used. This
removes the requirement to use project.afterEvaluate to
be able to resolve the bundle artifact.

Note - this does not completely remove the need for afterEvaluate
since it is still needed for the custom resource extension.

Ioannis Kakavas 343fb36c7f Test modifications for FIPS 140 mode (#51832) (#52128)
- Enable SunJGSS provider for Kerberos tests
- Handle the fact that in the decrypt method in KeyStoreWrapper might
not throw immediately when the GCM cipher is from BouncyCastle FIPS
and we end up with a DataInputStream that has reached it's end.
- Disable tests, jarHell, testingConventions for ingest attachment
plugin. We don't support this plugin (and document this) in FIPS
mode.
- Don't attempt to install ingest-attachment in smoke-test-plugins

Move repository-s3 fixture tests to QA test project (#29372)
This commit moves the repository-s3 fixture test added in #29296 in a
new `repository-s3/qa/amazon-s3` project. This new project allows the
REST integration tests to be executed using the real S3 service when
all the required environment variables are provided. When no env var
is provided, then the tests are executed using the fixture added
in #29296.

The REST tests located at the `repository-s3`plugin project now only
verify that the plugin is correctly loaded.

The REST tests have been adapted to allow a bucket name and a base
path to be specified as env vars. This way it is possible to run the tests
with different base paths (could be anything, like a CI job name or a
branch name) without multiplicating buckets.

Ryan Ernst 175bda64a0 Build: Rework integ test setup and shutdown to ensure stop runs when desired (#23304)
Gradle's finalizedBy on tasks only ensures one task runs after another,
but not immediately after. This is problematic for our integration tests
since it allows multiple project's integ test clusters to be
simultaneously. While this has not been a problem thus far (gradle 2.13
happened to keep the finalizedBy tasks close enough that no clusters
were running in parallel), with gradle 3.3 the task graph generation has
changed, and numerous clusters may be running simultaneously, causing
memory pressure, and thus generally slower tests, or even failure if the
system has a limited amount of memory (eg in a vagrant host).

This commit reworks how integ tests are configured. It adds an
`integTestCluster` extension to gradle which is equivalent to the current
`integTest.cluster` and moves the rest test runner task to
`integTestRunner`. The `integTest` task is then just a dummy task,
which depends on the cluster runner task, as well as the cluster stop
task. This means running `integTest` in one project will both run the
rest tests, and shut down the cluster, before running `integTest` in
another project.

Nik Everett 232af512f4 Switch from standalone-test to standalone-rest-test
standalone-rest-test doesn't configure unit tests and for these
integ test only tests, that is what we want.

Nik Everett 812f63e5ef Require either BuildPlugin or StandaloneTestBasePlugin to use RestTestPlugin
It used to be that RestTestPlugin "came with" StandaloneTestBasePlugin
but we'd like to use it with BuildPlugin for the high level rest client.

Ryan Ernst 2fb3cdceff Build: Simplify plugin configuration for rest tests
This change removes the multiple ways that plugins can be added to the
integ test cluster. It also removes the use of the default
configuration, and instead adds a zip configuration to all plugins. This
will enable using project substitutions with plugins, which must be done
with the default configuration.

Ryan Ernst 9cb4c82c58 Build: Add fixture capabilities to integ tests
This change adds a Fixture class for use by gradle. A Fixture is an
external process that integration tests will use. It can be added as a
dependsOn for integTest, and will automatically be shutdown upon success
or failure, as well as relevant information dumped on failure. There is
also an example fixture in this change.

Ryan Ernst 3d9d8bd45a Build: Remove duplicate runs of packaged rest tests
We currently use the full suite of packaged rest tests for each
distribution. We also used to run rest tests within core integ tests,
but this stopped working when we split out the test-framework, since the
test files are in there.

This change simplifies the code to run packaged rest tests just once,
for the integ-test-zip, and removes the unused rest tests from
test-framework. Distributions rest tests now check that all modules
were loaded.

Ryan Ernst 1e0f929281 Build: Simplify adding plugins that are another project in the build
The current mechanism for adding plugins to the integTest cluster is to
have a FileCollection. This works well for the integTests for a single
plugin, which automatically adds itself to be installed. However, for qa
tests where many plugins may be installed, and from other projects, it
is cumbersome to add configurations, dependencies and dependsOn
statements over and over. This simplifies installing a plugin from
another project by moving this common setup into the cluster
configuration code.

Ryan Ernst 9ee315a9c8 Build: Improve integ test to match ant behavior
Many other improvements:
* Use spaces in ES path
* Use space in path for plugin file installation
* Use a different cwd than ES home
* Use jps to ensure process being stopped is actually elasticsearch
* Stop ES if pid file already exists
* Delete pid file when successfully killed

Also, refactored the cluster formation code to be a little more organized.
