`auto_date_histogram`'s reduction behavior is fairly complex and we have some fairly complex testing logic for it but it is super difficult to look at that testing logic and say "ah, that is what it does in this case". This adds some tests explicit (non-randomized) tests of the reduction logic that *should* be easier to read. |
