Daniel Wiehl 8dc2b119fb fix(router): mount correct component if router outlet was not instantiated and if using a route reuse strategy (#25313) (#25314)
This unsets 'attachRef' on outlet context if no route is to be reused in route activation.

Rob Wormald c9844a2f01 feat(elements): enable Shadow DOM v1 and slots (#24861)
When using ViewEncapsulation.ShadowDom, Angular will not remove the child nodes of the DOM node a root Component is bootstrapped into. This enables developers building Angular Elements to use the `<slot>` element to do native content projection.

George Kalpakas 00c110b055 build: upgrade jasmine (and related typings) to latest version (#19904)
With these changes, the types are a little stricter now and also not
compatible with Protractor's jasmine-like syntax. So, we have to also
use `@types/jasminewd2` for e2e tests (but not for non-e2e tests).

I also had to "augment" `@types/jasminewd2`, because the latest
typings from [DefinitelyTyped][1] do not reflect the fact that the
`jasminewd2` version (v2.1.0) currently used by Protractor supports
passing a `done` callback to a spec.

Kevin Villela 0922228024 fix(core): use addCustomEqualityTester instead of overriding toEqual (#22983)
This propagates other custom equality testers added by users. Additionally, if
an Angular project is using jasmine 2.6+, it will allow Jasmine's custom object
differ to print out pretty test error messages.

Pete Bacon Darwin 4b96a58c5a docs: remove all deprecated `@stable` jsdoc tags (#23210)
These are no longer needed as stable docs are computed as those that
do not have `@experimental` or `@deprecated` tags.

Alex Rickabaugh 1d19d61970 fix(platform-browser): support Symbols in custom jasmineToString() method (#19794)
It's illegal to coerce a Symbol to a string, and results in a TypeError:

TypeError: Cannot convert a Symbol value to a string

Previously, the custom jasmineToString() method monkey-patched onto Maps
in platform-browser/testing/src/matchers.ts would coerce keys and values
to strings. A change in a newer version of Jasmine calls this method more
often, resulting in calls against Maps which contain Symbols in some
applications, which causes crashes.

The fix is to explicitly convert keys and values to strings, which does
work on Symbols.

Miško Hevery fcadbf4bf6 perf: switch angular to use StaticInjector instead of ReflectiveInjector
This change allows ReflectiveInjector to be tree shaken resulting
in not needed Reflect polyfil and smaller bundles.

Code savings for HelloWorld using Closure:

Reflective: bundle.js:  105,864(34,190 gzip)
    Static: bundle.js:  154,889(33,555 gzip)
                            645( 2%)

BREAKING CHANGE:

`platformXXXX()` no longer accepts providers which depend on reflection.
Specifically the method signature when from `Provider[]` to
`StaticProvider[]`.

Example:
Before:
```
[
  MyClass,
  {provide: ClassA, useClass: SubClassA}
]
```

After:
```
[
  {provide: MyClass, deps: [Dep1,...]},
  {provide: ClassA, useClass: SubClassA, deps: [Dep1,...]}
]
```

NOTE: This only applies to platform creation and providers for the JIT
compiler. It does not apply to `@Compotent` or `@NgModule` provides
declarations.

Benchpress note: Previously Benchpress also supported reflective
provides, which now require static providers.

DEPRECATION:

- `ReflectiveInjector` is now deprecated as it will be remove. Use
  `Injector.create` as a replacement.
