Paul Gschwendtner 6085f335e8 fix(ivy): platform module bootstrap does not resolve resources (#29083)
Currently with ViewEngine, if someone runs the platform's
`bootstrapModule` method in order to boostrap a module in
JIT mode, external component resources are properly resolved
*automatically*.

Currently with Ivy, the developer would need to manually call
`resolveComponentResources` in order to asynchronously fetch
the determined external component resources. In order to make
this backwards compatible with ViewEngine, and also since
platforms can already specify a `ResourceLoader` compiler
provider, we need to automatically resolve all external
component resources on module bootstrap.

--

Since the `ResourceLoader` is part of the `@angular/compiler`,
because ViewEngine performed the factory creation in the compiler,
we can't access the `ResourceLoader` token from within core.

In order to workaround this without introducing a breaking change,
we just proxy the `ResourceLoader` token to `core` through the
compiler facade. In the future, we should be able to move the
`ResourceLoader` to core when ViewEngine code no longer exists in
the `@angular/compiler`.

Olivier Combe cbd626413c fix(ivy): link correct ngModule's injector to the bootstrapped component (#28183)
Previously, bootstrapping a component with render3 would create a chained injector with the test bed ngModule instead of the ngModule that the component belongs to.
Now when a component belongs to an ngModule, we use that for the chained injector, ensuring the correct injection of any providers that this ngModule contains.

Kara Erickson a20b2f72f2 fix(ivy): process creation mode deeply before running update mode (#27744)
Prior to this commit, we had two different modes for change detection
execution for Ivy, depending on whether you called `bootstrap()` or
`renderComponent()`. In the former case, we would complete creation
mode for all components in the tree before beginning update mode for
any component. In the latter case, we would run creation mode and
update mode together for each component individually.

Maintaining code to support these two different execution orders was
unnecessarily complex, so this commit aligns the two bootstrapping
mechanisms to execute in the same order. Now creation mode always
runs for all components before update mode begins.

This change also simplifies our rendering logic so that we use
`LView` flags as the source of truth for rendering mode instead of
`rf` function arguments. This fixed some related bugs (e.g. calling
`ViewRef.detectChanges` synchronously after the view's creation
would create view nodes twice, view queries would execute twice, etc).

Kristiyan Kostadinov 862697d4bd fix(ivy): return new ViewRef when detaching view (#27437)
When detaching a view by its index via `ViewContainerRef.detach(index)`, in `ViewEngine` we used to return a new `ViewRef` ([for reference](https://github.com/angular/angular/blob/master/packages/core/src/view/refs.ts#L227)), however in Ivy we return the same `ViewRef` which means that its internal `_viewContainerRef` is never reset and we'll throw an error if the consumer tried to attach it to the `ApplicationRef`. These changes return a new `ViewRef` in order to match the original behavior.

These changes also add the same errors as `ViewEngine` when attempting to attach a view that is attached already. This was the original goal of this PR, however it ended up uncovering the issues with the `ViewRef`.

Kristiyan Kostadinov 4622d0b23a fix(ivy): detach ViewRef from ApplicationRef on destroy (#27276)
Currently we store the `_appRef` when a `ViewRef` is attached, however we don't use it for anything. These changes use it to detach the view from the `ApplicationRef` when it is destroyed. These changes also fix that the `ComponentRef` doesn't remove its `ViewRef` on destroy.

Rado Kirov c95437f15d build(bazel): Turning on strictPropertyInitialization for Angular. (#24572)
All errors for existing fields have been detected and suppressed with a
`!` assertion.

Issue/24571 is tracking proper clean up of those instances.

One-line change required in ivy/compilation.ts, because it appears that
the new syntax causes tsickle emitted node to no longer track their
original sourceFiles.

Olivier Combe b6431c60e6 refactor: core, http & platform-webworker to remove public private class separation (#19143)
The private classes `ApplicationRef_`, `PlatformRef_`, `JSONPConnection_`, `JSONPBackend_`, `ClientMessageBrokerFactory_`, `ServiceMessageBroker_`, `ClientMessageBroker_` and `ServiceMessageBrokerFactory_` have been removed and merged into their public equivalents.

The size of the minified umd bundles have been slightly decreased:

Vikram Subramanian 7ae7573bc8 fix(core): invoke error handler outside of the Angular Zone (#18269)
In Node.JS console.log/error/warn functions actually resuls in a socket
write which in turn is considered by Zone.js as an async task.

This means that if there is any exception during change detection in a platform-server
application the error handler will make the Angular Zone unstable which
in turn will cause change detection to run on next tick and cause an
infinite loop.

It is also better to run the error handler outside of the Angular Zone
in general on all platforms so that an error in the error handler itself doesn't cause an
infinite loop.

Fixes #17073, #7774.

Miško Hevery 77fd91d615 fix(core): ErrorHandler should not rethrow an error by default (#15077) (#15208)
ErrorHandler can not throw errors because it will unsubscribe itself from
the error stream.

Zones captures errors and feed it into NgZone, which than has a Rx Observable
to feed it into ErrorHandler. If the ErroHandler throws, then Rx will teardown
the observable which in essence causes the ErrorHandler to be removed from the
error handling. This implies that the ErrorHandler can never throw errors.

fixes #13870

Before this change there was a single injector tree.
Now we have 2 injector trees, one for the modules and one for the components.
This fixes lazy loading modules.

BREAKING CHANGES

`ComponentFactory.create()` takes an extra optional `NgModuleRef` parameter.
No change should be required in user code as the correct module will be used
when none is provided

DEPRECATIONS

The following methods were used internally and are no more required:
- `RouterOutlet.locationFactoryResolver`
- `RouterOutlet.locationInjector`

Tobias Bosch cdc882bd36 feat: introduce source maps for templates (#15011)
The main use case for the generated source maps is to give
errors a meaningful context in terms of the original source
that the user wrote.

Related changes that are included in this commit:

* renamed virtual folders used for jit:
  * ng://<module type>/module.ngfactory.js
  * ng://<module type>/<comp type>.ngfactory.js
  * ng://<module type>/<comp type>.html (for inline templates)
* error logging:
  * all errors that happen in templates are logged
from the place of the nearest element.
  * instead of logging error messages and stacks separately,
we log the actual error. This is needed so that browsers apply
source maps to the stack correctly.
  * error type and error is logged as one log entry.

Note that long-stack-trace zone has a bug that
disables source maps for stack traces,
see https://github.com/angular/zone.js/issues/661.

BREAKING CHANGE:

- DebugNode.source no more returns the source location of a node.
