Currently we run all benchmark perf tests in CircleCI. Since we do not
collect any results, we unnecessarily waste CI/RBE resources. Instead,
we should just not run benchmark perf tests in CI, but still run the
functionality e2e tests which ensure that benchmarks are not broken.
We can do this by splitting the perf and e2e tests into separate
files/targets.
PR Close#34753
The new view engine allows our codegen to produce less code,
as it can interpret view definitions during runtime.
The view engine is not feature complete yet, but already
allows to implement a tree benchmark based on it.
Part of #14013
The testing_e2e util does not belong in platform-browser and was never
intended to be a public API. Move it out of that whole tree.
BREAKING CHANGE:
The following API was never intended to be public and is removed:
```js
import {verifyNoBrowserErrors} from '@angular/platform-browser/testing_e2e';
```
