Matias Niemelä 420b9be1c1 refactor: disable sanitization for [style] and [style.prop] bindings (#35621)
This patch is the first of many commits to disable sanitization for
[stlye.prop] and [style] bindings in Angular.

Historically, style-based sanitization has only been required for old
IE browsers (IE6 and IE7). Since Angular does not support these old
browsers at all, there is no reason for the framework to support
style-based sanitization.

Igor Minar 3c6c00d1d4 docs: remove the note about @angular/http from the deprecations guide (#36944)
We stopped publishing @angular/http to npm a while back (v7?), so from the perspective of our
customer @angular/http has been removed a long time ago and mentioninig it now that we actually
removed the code from our repo is just confusing.

Igor Minar 9dbb30f884 feat(bazel): simplify ng_package by dropping esm5 and fesm5 (#36944)
esm5 and fesm5 are no longer needed and have been deprecated in the past.

https://v9.angular.io/guide/deprecations#esm5-and-fesm5-code-formats-in-angular-npm-packages

This commit modifies ng_package to no longer distribute these two formats in npm packages
built by ng_package (e.g. @angular/core).

This commit intentionally doesn't fully clean up the ng_package rule to remove all traces of esm5 and fems5
build artifacts as that is a bigger cleanup and currently we are narrowing down the scope of this change
to the MVP needed for v10, which in this case is 'do not put esm5 and fesm5' into the npm packages.

More cleanup to follow: https://angular-team.atlassian.net/browse/FW-2143

BREAKING CHANGE: esm5 and fesm5 format is no longer distributed in
Angular's npm packages e.g. @angular/core

If you are not using Angular CLI to build your application or library,
and you need to be able to build es5 artifacts, then you will need to
downlevel the distributed Angular code to es5 on your own.

Angular CLI will automatically downlevel the code to es5 if differential
loading is enabled in the Angular project, so no action is required from
Angular CLI users.

Misko Hevery c9e0db55f7 refactor(core): deprecate `WrappedValue` (#36819)
The purpose of the `WrappedValue` is to allow same object instance to be treated as different for the purposes of change detection. It is currently used with `async` pipe and only with `Observables`. The use case which it covers is if the `Observable` produces the same instance of the value but it is desirable to still try to mark it as changed for the purposes of change detection.

We believe tha the above use case is too rare to warrant special handling in the framework. (Having special handling causes application slowdown for the users and mental load for the developers.) No replacement is planned for this deprecation.

Alex Rickabaugh ccc76f7498 feat(platform-webworker): deprecate platform-webworker (#30642)
DEPRECATION:

platform-webworker has been around since the initial release of Angular
version 2. It began as an experiment to leverage Angular's rendering
architecture and try something different: to run an entire web application
in a web worker.

We've learned a lot from this experiment, and have come to the conclusion
that pushing entire applications to run in a web worker is not a recipe for
success for most applications. This is due to a number of unresolved issues,
including:

* Poor or non-existent support for web worker APIs in web crawlers/indexers.
* Poor support in build and bundling tooling.

As a result, as of Angular version 8, we are deprecating the
`platform-webworker` APIs in Angular. This consists of both NPM packages,
`@angular/platform-webworker` and `@angular/platform-webworker-dynamic`.

Going forward, we will focus our efforts related to web workers around their
primary use case of offloading CPU-intensive but not critical work.

Alex Rickabaugh f310a5960e feat(core): deprecate integration with the Web Tracing Framework (WTF) (#30642)
DEPRECATION:

Angular previously has supported an integration with the Web Tracing
Framework (WTF) for performance testing of Angular applications. This
integration has not been maintained and likely does not work for the
majority of Angular applications today. As a result, we are deprecating
the integration in Angular version 8.

This deprecation covers the following public APIs:
* `WtfScopeFn`
* `wtfCreateScope`
* `wtfStartTimeRange`
* `wtfEndTimeRange`
* `wtfLeave`

Kara Erickson a96976e88f fix(core): remove deprecated `TestBed.deprecatedOverrideProvider` API (#30576)
BREAKING CHANGE

In PR #19558, we fixed a bug in `TestBed.overrideProvider` where
eager providers were not being instantiated correctly. However,
it turned out that since this bug had been around for quite a bit,
many apps were relying on the broken behavior where the providers
would not be instantiated. To assist in the transition, the
`TestBed.deprecatedOverrideProvider` method was temporarily
introduced to mimic the old behavior so that apps would have a
longer time period to migrate their code.

2 years and 3 versions later, it is time to remove the temporary
method. This commit removes `TestBed.deprecatedOverrideProvider`
altogether. Any usages of `TestBed.deprecatedOverrideProvider`
should be replaced with `TestBed.overrideProvider`. This may mean
that providers that were not created before will now be instantiated,
which could mean that your tests need to provide more mocks or stubs
for the dependencies of the newly instantiated providers.

Ben Lesh d7eaae6f22 refactor(ivy): Move instructions back to ɵɵ (#30546)
There is an encoding issue with using delta `Δ`, where the browser will attempt to detect the file encoding if the character set is not explicitly declared on a `<script/>` tag, and Chrome will find the `Δ` character and decide it is window-1252 encoding, which misinterprets the `Δ` character to be some other character that is not a valid JS identifier character

So back to the frog eyes we go.

   /ɵɵ\
  ( -- ) - I am ineffable. I am forever.
