In JIT compiled apps, component definitions are compiled upon first
access. For a component class `A` that extends component class `B`, the
`B` component is also compiled when the `InheritDefinitionFeature` runs
during the compilation of `A` before it has finalized. A problem arises
when the compilation of `B` would flush the NgModule scoping queue,
where the NgModule declaring `A` is still pending. The scope information
would be applied to the definition of `A`, but its compilation is still
in progress so requesting the component definition would compile `A`
again from scratch. This "inner compilation" is correctly assigned the
NgModule scope, but once the "outer compilation" of `A` finishes it
would overwrite the inner compilation's definition, losing the NgModule
scope information.
In summary, flushing the NgModule scope queue could trigger a reentrant
compilation, where JIT compilation is non-reentrant. To avoid the
reentrant compilation, a compilation depth counter is introduced to
avoid flushing the NgModule scope during nested compilations.

When using `platformBrowserDynamic().bootstrapModule()`, it is possible
to set `defaultEncapsulation` and `preserveWhitespaces` as default
configuration to influence how components are compiled. When compiling
components in JIT with Ivy, these options were not taken into account.
This commit publishes the options to be globally available, so that the
lazy compilation of JIT components has access to the configured
bootstrap options. Note that this approach does not allow changing the
options once they have been set, as Ivy's compilation model does not
allow for multiple compilations to exist at the same time.
For applications that bootstrap multiple modules, it is now required
to provide the exact same bootstrap options. An error is logged if
incompatible bootstrap options are provided, in which case the updated
options will be ignored.

For abstract directives, i.e. directives without a selector, it may
happen that their constructor is called explicitly from a subclass,
hence its parameters are not required to be valid for Angular's DI
purposes. Prior to this commit however, having an abstract directive
with a constructor that has parameters that are not eligible for
Angular's DI would produce a compilation error.
A similar scenario may occur for `@Injectable`s, where an explicit
`use*` definition allows for the constructor to be irrelevant. For
example, the situation where `useFactory` is specified allows for the
constructor to be called explicitly with any value, so its constructor
parameters are not required to be valid. For `@Injectable`s this is
handled by generating a DI factory function that throws.
This commit implements the same solution for abstract directives, such
that a compilation error is avoided while still producing an error at
runtime if the type is instantiated implicitly by Angular's DI
mechanism.

Recently it was made possible to have a directive without selector,
which are referred to as abstract directives. Such directives should not
be registered in an NgModule, but can still contain decorators for
inputs, outputs, queries, etc. The information from these decorators and
the `@Directive()` decorator itself needs to be registered with the
central `MetadataRegistry` so that other areas of the compiler can
request information about a given directive, an example of which is the
template type checker that needs to know about the inputs and outputs of
directives.
Prior to this change, however, abstract directives would only register
themselves with the `MetadataRegistry` as being an abstract directive,
without all of its other metadata like inputs and outputs. This meant
that the template type checker was unable to resolve the inputs and
outputs of these abstract directives, therefore failing to check them
correctly. The typical error would be that some property does not exist
on a DOM element, whereas said property should have been bound to the
abstract directive's input.
This commit fixes the problem by always registering the metadata of a
directive or component with the `MetadataRegistry`. Tests have been
added to ensure abstract directives are handled correctly in the
template type checker, together with tests to verify the form of
abstract directives in declaration files.

for "private" ('ɵ') to discourage apps from relying on def
APIs directly.
This commit adds the prefix and shortens the name from
ngFactoryDef to fac. This is because property names
cannot be minified by Uglify without turning on property
mangling (which most apps have turned off) and are thus
size-sensitive.
Note that the other "defs" (ngPipeDef, etc) will be
prefixed and shortened in follow-up PRs, in an attempt to
limit how large and conflict-y this change is.

With #31953 we moved the factories for components, directives and pipes into a new field called `ngFactoryDef`, however I decided not to do it for injectables, because they needed some extra logic. These changes set up the `ngFactoryDef` for injectables as well.
For reference, the extra logic mentioned above is that for injectables we have two code paths:
1. For injectables that don't configure how they should be instantiated, we create a `factory` that proxies to `ngFactoryDef`:

Reworks the compiler to output the factories for directives, components and pipes under a new static field called `ngFactoryFn`, instead of the usual `factory` property in their respective defs. This should eventually allow us to inject any kind of decorated class (e.g. a pipe).
**Note:** these changes are the first part of the refactor and they don't include injectables. I decided to leave injectables for a follow-up PR, because there's some more cases we need to handle when it comes to their factories. Furthermore, directives, components and pipes make up most of the compiler output tests that need to be refactored and it'll make follow-up PRs easier to review if the tests are cleaned up now.

When a class uses Angular decorators such as `@Input`, `@Output` and
friends without an Angular class decorator, they are compiled into a
static `ngBaseDef` field on the class, with the TypeScript declaration
of the class being altered to declare the `ngBaseDef` field to be of type
`ɵɵBaseDef`. This type however requires a generic type parameter that
corresponds with the type of the class, however the compiler did not
provide this type parameter. As a result, compiling a program where such
invalid `ngBaseDef` declarations are present will result in compilation
errors.
This commit fixes the problem by providing the generic type parameter.

Fixes view and content queries not being inherited in Ivy, if the base class hasn't been annotated with an Angular decorator (e.g. `Component` or `Directive`).

Previous to this commit, providing a component or directive in a test
module without @Injectable() would throw because the injectable factory
would not be found. Providing components in tests in addition to declaring
or importing them is not necessary, but it should not throw an error.
This commit ensures factory data is saved when component defs and directive
defs are created, which allows them to be processed by the module injector.
Note that bootstrapping is still required for this setup to work because
directiveInject() does not support cases where the view has not been
created. This case will be handled in a future commit.

Prior to this change, we always recompile all Components/Directives/Pipes even if they were AOT-compiled and had no overrides. This is causing problems in case we try to recompile a Component with "templateUrl" or "styleUrls" (which were already resolved in case of AOT) and generally this unnecessary work that TestBed was doing is not required. This commit adds extra logic to check whether a Component/Directive/Pipe already have compiled NG def (like ngComponentDef) and whether there are no overrides present - in this case recompilation is skipped. Recompilation is also skipped in case a Component/Directive has only Provider overrides - in this situation providers resolver function is patched to reflect overrides. Provider overrides are very common in g3, thus this code path ensures no full recompilation.

This commit adds support for the `static: true` flag in
`ViewChild` queries. Prior to this commit, all `ViewChild`
queries were resolved after change detection ran. This is
a problem for backwards compatibility because View Engine
also supported "static" queries which would resolve before
change detection.
Now if users add a `static: true` option, the query will be
resolved in creation mode (before change detection runs).
For example:
```ts
@ViewChild(TemplateRef, {static: true}) template !: TemplateRef;
```
This feature will come in handy for components that need
to create components dynamically.

In View Engine, we supported @Input and @ContentChild annotations
on the same property. This feature was somewhat brittle because
it would only work for static queries, so it would break if a
content child was passed in wrapped in an *ngIf. Due to the
inconsistent behavior and low usage both internally and externally,
we will likely be deprecating it in the next version, and it does
not make sense to perpetuate it in Ivy.
This commit ensures that we now throw in Ivy if we encounter the
two annotations on the same property.

exportAs in @Directive metadata supports multiple values, separated by
commas. Previously it was treated as a single value string.
This commit modifies the compiler to understand that exportAs is a
string[]. It stops short of carrying the multiple values through to the
runtime. Instead, it only emits the first one. A future commit will modify
the runtime to accept all the values.

`NgModule` requires that `Component`s/`Directive`s/`Pipe`s are listed in
declarations, and that each `Component`s/`Directive`s/`Pipe` is declared
in exactly one `NgModule`. This change adds runtime checks to ensure
that these sementics are true at runtime.
There will need to be seperate set of checks for the AoT path of the
codebase to verify that same set of semantics hold. Due to current
design there does not seem to be an easy way to share the two checks
because JIT deal with references where as AoT deals with AST nodes.

Previously the concept of multiple directives with the same selector was
not supported by ngtsc. This is due to the treatment of directives for a
component as a Map from selector to the directive, which is an erroneous
representation.
Now the directives for a component are stored as an array which supports
multiple directives with the same selector.
Testing strategy: a new ngtsc_spec test asserts that multiple directives
with the same selector are matched on an element.
