# JNI library
To integrate [nmslib's](https://github.com/nmslib/nmslib/) approximate k-NN functionality (implemented in C++) into the k-NN plugin (implemented in Java), we created a Java Native Interface library, which lets the k-NN plugin leverage nmslib's functionality.
