Sample code
Create a new file called main.go:
package main
import (
"crypto/tls"
"fmt"
"github.com/opensearch-project/opensearch-go"
"log"
"net/http"
)
func main () {
// Instantiate a new OpenSearch client object instance
client, err := opensearch.NewClient(opensearch.Config{
Transport: &http.Transport{
TLSClientConfig: &tls.Config{InsecureSkipVerify: true},
},
Addresses: []string{"https://localhost:9200"},
Username: "admin", // For testing only. Don't store credentials in code.
Password: "admin",
})
// ca_certs_path = '/full/path/to/root-ca.pem' # Provide a CA bundle if you use intermediate CAs with your root CA. Optional client certificates if you don't want to use HTTP basic authentication.
// client_cert_path = '/full/path/to/client.pem'
// client_key_path = '/full/path/to/client-key.pem'
if err != nil {
fmt.Println("cannot initialize", err)
}
// Have the client instance return a response
log.Println(client.Info())
}
$ go run main.go
